The “Haraszthy Pincészet Webshop” is the webshop of Haraszthy Pincészet Kft. (hereinafter referred to as “Haraszthy“) is an online catalogue of products and services offered by Haraszthy offers wines and other products for sale.
By placing an electronic order through the Webshop, a purchase contract is created between Haraszthy and the individual or company placing the order (hereinafter referred to as “Customer“) under the terms and conditions described in this document.
If you have become a customer or an active user of our Webshop, we assume that you have carefully read these Terms and Conditions and that you are using our services because you have agreed to be bound by all of its provisions. These General Terms and Conditions (the “GTC“) are not filed, are concluded in electronic form only and are not retrievable. The Code of Conduct does not refer to a code of conduct or any other background rules.

Using the Haraszthy online store
Our online shop makes it quick and easy to buy the product you’re looking for.
Registration is not required to purchase, but you will need to provide the following information to complete your order successfully:
- Delivery and billing address to which you want the wines delivered;
- Other important information about the order (e.g. ideal delivery time, telephone number, doorbell, etc.);
- Acceptance of terms of service;
- Select the mode of transport;
- Select payment method;
- Order confirmation.
You have the possibility to modify the above data when placing each order, and Haraszthy will fulfil the order and issue the invoice accordingly.
All liability for damages resulting from the provision of incorrect or false data shall be borne by the customer. Only real data in the correct format can be entered when placing an order. If you have provided information that appears to be false or obviously incorrect when placing an order, Haraszthy is entitled to cancel your order – if a one-off contact by e-mail for clarification purposes is unsuccessful – and will notify you of this by e-mail.
The products displayed in the webshop can only be ordered on-line, with home delivery nationwide or personal delivery in Budapest.
Once you have found the product you want to buy, you can add it to your “basket” by entering the quantity you want and clicking on the “Add to basket” button.

Our webshop is available to customers in two languages, English and Hungarian. You can switch languages using the “English” and “Hungarian” flags at the bottom of the menu on the left. Haraszthy shall not be liable for any problems arising from language barriers.
1. Select the products you want to buy and add them to your shopping cart by clicking once on “Add to cart“. If you would like to purchase more than one of a product, change the value of the field in front of the Add to Cart button (default: 1) to the desired quantity and then click Add to Cart.
2. The products in your shopping cart are shown in a short summary in the top right corner of the page, which you can click to access the contents of your cart. Here you can also change the products and quantities in your shopping cart, and click on the “Calculate shipping” link to calculate and select the shipping costs – all you need to do is enter your postcode.
3. Click on “Continue to checkout” to go to the checkout page. Here you can set the shipping and billing address, as well as the shipping and payment method (if you have not calculated the shipping costs on the Cart page, the system will do this automatically on the Checkout page after you enter your postcode). If the shipping and billing details are different, please uncheck the box “Shipping to billing address” and enter your shipping address as well.
3. Finally, check the information you have entered and click on the “Order” button. Please take great care to ensure that the information you enter is correct, as this is the basis on which the product will be delivered and invoiced.
The data recorded in relation to your order will be automatically confirmed by our system to the e-mail address you have provided (this must be done within 48 hours, otherwise you as the customer are released from your contractual obligations), where you can check the details, so please enter your e-mail address accurately. Failure to receive a confirmation by e-mail may be caused by an incorrect e-mail address or by the storage space in your mailbox being full. Your order will be recorded on the order number provided in the confirmation, which we kindly ask you to keep until the order is fulfilled. Our contract is concluded, by way of an implied agreement, by the confirmation we send you.
The order and its confirmation shall be deemed to have been received when it is made available to the recipient.
Please note that orders are registered on a first come, first served basis, so it is unlikely, but possible, that the item you have ordered is out of stock. In this case, one of our staff will contact you and inform you about the wines and products available. If we are unable to fulfil your order in full, you have the right to cancel the order. If you wish to cancel your order, please inform us in writing at email@example.com, otherwise we will ship and invoice you for the available items in your order.
The Customer undertakes to arrange for the receipt and payment of the consignments containing the goods ordered in the orders approved by it, in accordance with the delivery and payment methods chosen by it. If the delivery of the consignment fails due to the Customer’s fault, the Customer shall reimburse Haraszthy for any additional costs incurred.
Rules applicable to our products and services
Orders for products containing alcohol can only be fulfilled by a person over the age of 18. We are not able to verify the age of the person receiving the goods in the case of a company order.
The ordered goods remain the property of Haraszthy until full payment of the purchase price.
Delivery conditions in Hungary
- Within Pest county – free of charge for orders over 25.000,-Ft, otherwise 3.990,-Ft
- Outside Pest county the delivery is carried out by courier service, which charges: free of charge for orders over HUF 35.000, otherwise HUF 2.990
- personal pick-up 1036 Budapest, Pacsirtamező utca 41.): free of charge.
The thresholds and fees in the table include VAT.
In exceptional cases, we will charge a higher delivery fee. In such cases, we will provide you with a detailed statement of the charge and draw your attention to this before the order is fulfilled. If, for technical or logistical reasons, we have to deliver the ordered products in several stages after the order has been placed, we will of course only charge you once for the delivery costs.

Delivery conditions may change before holidays.
In any case, please indicate in the comment field of your order if you have limited availability at the delivery address during the specified delivery times and, if possible, please also provide your telephone contact details.
Depending on the delivery address, our supplier will deliver the ordered products to the delivery address as indicated above. When ordering, please write in the message box the times when the address is or is not available. If the delivery fails, our staff will try to arrange a new delivery (pick-up) date with you. We will try again at the new date. If we fail to contact you twice or you do not request a new delivery date, our contract will be terminated. If you have already paid the purchase price by this date, it will be refunded to the current or bank account number provided.
Complaints, cancellation of orders and deliveries
We take full responsibility for your order until we receive the goods. Defective or damaged goods will be replaced or repaired within 5 (five) working days at a new agreed time and at our own expense. If you cancel your order due to faulty delivery or damage to the goods at the time of delivery, we will refund the price of the goods already paid. We are unable to accept any claims relating to delivery after receipt of the goods.We will not accept any complaints or comments regarding your order and the delivery of your goods. The Customer may withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason within 8 (eight) working days after receipt of the ordered goods, unless the nature of the ordered and delivered goods does not allow their return or if they are perishable. If the statutory conditions are met, our company is obliged to refund the price of the product(s) returned undamaged, complete, unopened and intact within 30 (thirty) days of the return. However, the return transport costs incurred as a result of exercising the right of withdrawal are borne by the customer.

Prices applied by Haraszthy Winery
The price on the product list page is the gross “bottle price” without discount, which is valid in our online shop regardless of the size of the ordered item. The price shown is accordingly also valid for mixed cartons. Below the “bottle price“, you can see the current unit price (HUF/ 0.75 litre) and the gross price (including VAT).
In the case of a special price, the original (full price) is crossed out and the new (special price) is shown next to it in a different colour.
The “cartonprice” is valid only for a full carton (6 pieces).
The total amount of the order is fixed in HUF.
You can choose the payment method when ordering in the Haraszthy Winery online store. You can also pay for the items ordered by bank transfer at the time of delivery and via OTP SimplePay secure online payment system. In all cases, you will receive an invoice automatically by e-mail after you have ordered the product.
OTP SimplePay payment method
If you wish to pay the amount of the product selected in our store via OTP SimplePay, after selecting the payment method and confirming the order, you will be redirected to the OTP SimplePay secure payment page, where you can enter the necessary payment details.
Payment by bank transfer
If you wish to pay the amount of the product selected in our online shop by bank transfer, please transfer the amount to our bank account 12010501-01220426-00100002.
Please make your bank transfer no later than 2 (two) working days after placing your order, otherwise the system will suspend the order.
The fee is considered paid when it is credited to your bank account. Otherwise we will not be able to deliver the products you have ordered.
The invoice will be given to you upon delivery.

In matters not covered by this document and related documents, the Civil Code and the legislation applicable to electronic commerce and distance contracts shall prevail.
Haraszthy may unilaterally amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and publish them on its website. The amended provisions shall apply to orders placed after their entry into force.
The aim of the online shop is to fulfil all orders to the customer’s full satisfaction and with the quality required. If you still have a complaint about the purchase contract or its performance, you can make your complaint via the web interface under “Contact us”, by e-mail to email@example.com or by post. Our store will investigate your complaint within 30 (thirty) days of receipt at the latest and will inform you of the outcome of the investigation and of the remedies available to you if the complaint is rejected in the same way as the complaint.
